Inheritance

As humans, we tend to believe we’re alone in our experiences. It’s not until you hear it from someone else that you feel validated. This workshop focuses on the stories we have lived but didn’t know how to tell. We’ll unearth stories to create a community dedicated to freedom.

Heather ‘Byrd’ Roberts published her first chapbook, Mahogany: A Love Letter To Black, and the forthcoming anthology, Trouble the Waters: Tales of the Deep Blue. She’s also the recipient of the St. Louis Fringe National Artist of the Year Award.
